Apples and Oranges

No one can deny or ignore the past few years have brought rapid changes in the shopping, buying habits and expectations of consumers.  Here are just a few of the changes that have become commonplace through commercial venues: Millions of images for every item on Earth at your fingertips, Customized and Personalized choices, One Hour Delivery for many orders, instant 24/7/365 Customer Service, no Holidays or Weekends, Free Shipping and Full Refunds.

Side by Side with the commercial vendors on the internet are the Artisans, Artists, and Custom Services that require a personal interaction and are CUSTOM REQUESTED BY THE CONSUMER.

In an Ideal World, customers would know the Commercial Vendors produce thousands of the items and the Custom Services are creating something especially because they ordered it and it is not in a bin somewhere that a robot can pick and ship.

In the past year, it has been my experience (and other Custom Services that I know) that many Customers do not understand the meaning of “Custom” nor the differences between these two Worlds.  Here is an image I took at a Custom Print Shop recently:

Impact Custom

In keeping with the realization of this changing Customer/Consumer/Client, I feel it necessary to highlight our Policies on the Custom Orders, Pricing and Ordering page of the website.  Please visit this page to review what is the common Industry Standard:

Custom Orders, Pricing & Ordering

We appreciate all our Customers! Whether you are purchasing one of our Signature Designs or looking to create  original and unique Custom pieces of jewelry, we look forward to hearing from you.
